The Plan

Vision and Values

To bring the healing power of laughter and joy to hospitalized children and their families through interactive play with
Hot Wheels.

We saw a need to care for children in hospitals with an addition
to medicine, treatments, diagnostic tests and surgery. It is our vision of uniting patients and families with a time of laughter , excitement and plain fun that Hot Wheels has brought for generations.

Hot Wheels provides a great tool to boost attitude, and elevate mood. Laughter is a good medicine and research has proven that higher levels of emotional well being are beneficial for recovery and healing, for both the patient, and the parents as well as siblings.

  Our Values
We will strive to work with and not against medical advice and care and always put the patients family and medical needs first.
We will listen before we speak, and learn all we can about the child and the family and the medical team involved.
Never do harm, and do unto others as we would have done to us.

Goals

We want to reach as many children, as well as providing support for parents and siblings as we can across this nation. We know we have a great vision and a serious need, but we have a lot to learn and  long way to go. We plan on traveling to hospitals and set up custom play sets and activity/competition tracks for those that can come to a multi-purpose room. For those unable to join and might be bound to the hospital bed, we have innovative ideas and technology to bring a Hot Wheels virtual experience to them and to include family. We have many options and ideas to work with for a long time to come.
The first step is to obtain a Non-profit 501-c status for many reasons, the obvious of course is the benefit of tax deductible donations and Grants. But more importantly to us, is to be transparent and to maintain integrity. To be sure that donations given to Hope Wheels, we remain responsible and accountable for. Our promise is to get the highest percentage of our donations to the children that need us.
The top 6 reasons a non profit fails are all because laws were not followed. Our endeavor is that Hope Wheels is trusted and respected.
We want Hope Wheels to continue to help children and families for generations.

Achievement
We plan to achieve this with a large and diverse network of
support from local business that we have already established.
We can never express how supportive and willing to help they have
been from the very beginning of our Guinness World Record attempts enabling use the track, cars and equipment needed to finally bring a successful world record to our community and give the proceeds to much needed resources.
The holding of a Guinness World Record has enabled doors to open
to the very extensive Hot Wheels community of collectors and
enthusiasts. We were able to take our story to Channel 8 news, Reno
where Colin Jackson interviewed Tim and his Grandson Mason about the record attempt and the start of Hope Wheels.
That got the interest of people in the car club sector and racing community, and have even had talks with T.V. personalities from the new show Hot Wheels Challenge.. We have been very fortunate that so far the people we talk to have shown support and enthusiasm not only with donations, but involvement in the work it takes to get a great idea off the ground.
My research shows me that Mattel started the
Mattel Children's Foundation more than 40 years ago and works closely with Good360 to put toy's in the hands of children in crisis and need. They have committed millions and even have Mattel employees involved in volunteer roles. That makes us proud and we hope to work closely with them as we finish our 501-C status.

Programs and Services

We plan on setting up a re occurring schedule to visit various children's hospitals and recovery/rehab centers. Bringing Hot Wheels pre- made sets as well as custom interactive designs to bring patients together in play and competition. Video games have become the main focus of child entertainment and is a great way for patients to connect and compete with each other. Mattel has noticed this market and has created some great Hot Wheels Video games that we plan to use to it's full potential.
WE also plan to have a line of comfortable hospital wear, gowns and masks available to staff and families printed with many Hope Wheels designs to choose from.
Our goal is to include as many children as we can despite limitations of mobility or skill. We will work closely with family and medical team to accommodate the multiple challenges and issues we will be experiencing.
We would like to offer supportive services to the parents or siblings in the form of  a strong referral network of counselors, group support, financial advice and counsel and financial help if applicable and possible. The parents and siblings are often overlooked and overwhelmed, with supportive needs of their own that are very important to us
Hope Wheels also has plans for volunteer opportunities, track designers and internship programs and community service .  To teach child development as it applies to medical care and give away
Hot Wheels cars, sets and collectibles to the children and hospitals we visit. Our services will be an on going topic as we strive to bring new ideas and innovations

Market Analysis

My research so far has shown similar organizations that focus on Children's care in the hospital pertaining to play and social activities
like Shriner's Hospitals that focus on mind as well as body with special Camps for certain ailments and medical issues. Child's Play is a charity that brings video gamer's together with children.
Starlight Foundation is perhaps the closest to our concept. They bring all types of toys as well as virtual sets to interact with, and there are numerous charities that donate toys to children in hospitals .
Starlight Foundation has been very successful and has a similar goal of healing through play.
But we have a unique approach and can bring some more things to the table with the large community and branding power of   Hot Wheels. Car clubs and racing organizations. One on one visits with celebrities and influencers of those clubs and organizations. The thrill of competition as well as learning to build tracks with math and physics and imagination that make you smile as you forget for a little while about being in a hospital.
Continuing our work to extend to the parents and siblings is something I have not seen in my research and I am convinced it is a very important need as well.
To sum up the anylisis , I have shown a need on many levels
and although some similar organizations exist, I believe we will stand alone in the type of services we will provide

Operational Plan

At this early stage of Hope Wheels we know our growth will allow further opportunities to expand and improve or basic structure.
From our own financial investment into Hope Wheels we have set up basic office, computer, printer and internet at our home for the present. This will need to be maintained and equipped and expanded with growth.
For supplies and equipment, we have been able to utilize the track and cars from former record attempts and sponsorship.
Obviously this will have to be added to with more Hot Wheels
play sets and products. We will need to store and be able to transport
We hope that under our 501-c we will be able to provide most of our Hot Wheels products with the help of Mattel donations.
For the logistics of travel and transporting our interactive play sets
we have concluded to keep cost as efficient and beneficial as possible, we will use a self contained R.V. With a trailer to store and transport our supplies. This will allow us to save on lodging costs.
We can then stay close to our site of operation hospital to make set up, operation and close down as simple as possible.
We will also be able to host our guests from various car clubs, racing organizations and T.V personalities.
As of now, our staff consists of  Tim Trevitt as Founder, Public Relations and Research and Development. Glen Chase, Co-Founder is taking over Secretary  position, Accounting, and Logistics
Both of us will perform set up and supervise as well.

Staff and Volunteer Operation

We have a few volunteers, Robert Keller, that has been instrumental providing media services and capturing the detailed video evidence we needed to prove our World Record. We have also have a volunteer Glen's Son Stephen Chase. He has been a large help, in setting up our web site design and maintenance . He will also be involved in technical advise and Social Marketing. We hope to continue to use both of them working together in documenting our progress and show the smiles and laughter we bring through
Youtube, Facebook shorts, Instagram and Tic Toc.
We hope that set up and  play supervision we can utilize volunteers from churches and other local resources, after we leave play sets and cars with hospitals, volunteers will come in on a regular schedule to offer our services in many locations. We will need help in track building and design, Phone and clerical work, help in child development skills and approaches to working with children with disabilities.

Impact Plan

The purpose of Hope Wheels is to help complete the health and healing circle of body, mind and spirit. With a deficiency in any one area, all areas are affected and the process of healing and recovery are compromised. We are blessed to live in a time of medical breakthroughs and technology and we only wish to add to and work with medical professionals to ensure the best possible chance for recovery.
Our hope is to touch lives on a personal level that shows empathy over sympathy and make lasting changes in children's health care.

To accomplish this we will rely on the help of our community, our sponsors. Future corporate grants and fundraising drives.
We plan on holding an annual event much like the attempt at breaking our own record on Sept 2 ,2023 with the help of T-Mobile off their Roof to complete 25 plus loop to loops!
We will keep our supporters up to date with our developments with
the help of Facebook and E-Mail as well as impact and annual reports.
Our success will be measured by lives we have impacted. How many hospitals we can involve. So far success has met us every day
with new developments. We have already counted our impact on the community of Susanville by the recognition of a Guinness World Record. Every smile and laugh will be counted as success.
